Please Fix The Road is a gorgeous upcoming puzzle game

By - | Views: 12,686

Developer Ariel Jurkowski emailed in about their upcoming game Please Fix The Road, a puzzle game all about fixing up the roads and it really does look quite wonderful. The developer also confirmed full Linux support at release.

"Please Fix The Road is a colorful, minimalistic, laid-back and casual puzzle game in which it's probably not hard to guess... you're fixing roads! In each level you have a specific limited set of tools that will help you get all the cars, boats, trains or animals from their point A to point B. The mentioned animals include, of course, kittens, dogs and... pink llamas! You are able to manipulate multiple tiles at the same time. You can insert, destroy, rotate, copy, swap, raise, lower, push or move different segments of roads, rivers, paths or railroad tracks. The game combines elements of many other logic games into a nice minimalistic experience."

Going to have to keep an eye on this as it looks great.

It's planned to release sometime this year on Steam. You can also see plenty of nice GIFs on their Twitter.

This should be free for Belgians.
(For those that don't know: Belgium is known to have the worst roads in Europe and are in a never ending project of fixing it).

I was going to make a similar comment regarding UK councils, some roads are more pothole than tarmac!

If you're in Germany, you get the feeling that would be Germany. :D

How topical! I spent most of the morning staring out the window at a crew digging up the street.

Yeah, they've been tearing up a street that runs maybe ~75 meters from my house for months now, often working late into the night. Nothing like the sound of heavy equipment wafting in through the window as I'm lying in bed trying to sleep. Please Fix The Road succinctly expresses my feelings on the matter.

Beats the alternative. I always have the feeling that you can tell when society is starting to collapse--it's when the maintenance isn't being done any more.

Oh, for sure. I like to gripe, but it certainly needed it, and I've driven over some of the newly-paved sections and they're pretty nice.
