Act fast to claim a free copy of Daymare: 1998 on GOG that they're giving away as the final free game in their Winter Sale. Scroll down on the GOG home page when you're logged in, and you'll see the giveaway banner to claim it.

What is it? Daymare: 1998 is a third-person survival horror with hardcore survival mechanics and hard to kill enemies. It requires a strategical approach to combat and puzzles and offers a multi-character point of view on the story, revealing a deep and obscure lore. You can claim the game until Monday, January 2nd at 2 PM UTC. It doesn't have a Linux version but you can use the likes of Lutris, Bottles or Heroic to grab it and play it easily with the Wine compatibility layer.

Quoting: Arcadius-8606This trend in the Linux gaming space is extremely off putting. Makes me stay further away for things like Steam since it seems to be causing mental disorders. Any store that sell linux games without a client can get my coin.

I don't think it's the subject matter. We're always going to have discussions like these. Do you know what the collective noun for a group of Linux users is? It is an argument of Linux users.

get the game for free, and play it with anykind of transgaming tool. Even with valve's proton you can add game to steam library as non-steam game and run it.

Quoting: Liam DawePlease note: store wars are not allowed here. I'm keeping the comments up this time, so people are again aware. It is however against our rules to do these drive-by "i'm not interested" comments. It's annoying. No one needs to know you won't buy at a particular store, next time just scroll by. It doesn't add to any healthy discussion.

Yeah, Store Wars are going down in quality. I liked episodes 5-7 very much, though. Other ones are not that good. But the episodes 4123-9000+ are just plain bad!
