GOG is back with their Autumn Sale, so here's your chance to get a whole bunch of DRM-free games on the cheap and also free games. So let's take a look.
First up you want to know about free games right? Yeah, I know you do. This time you can grab Hero of the Kingdom II free until Thursday, August 31st at 2 PM UTC. That's only the first, another 3 are planned during the sale so keep checking back for more free goodies.
Some of the big deals going include:
- Yakuza Complete Series (-50%)
- The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition (-70%)
- Yakuza: Like a Dragon Hero Edition (-50%)
- Cyberpunk (-50%)
- Horizon Zero Dawn™ Complete Edition (-67%)
- Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition (-55%)
- S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl (-75%)
- A Plague Tale: Requiem (-50%)
- Europa Universalis IV (-65%)
- Metro Franchise Bundle (-84%)
GOG are also trying something a little different this time, as they're trying to entice you to buy quite a few games. They have various BYOBs (build your own bundles) deals across different genres.
A few games just recently released on GOG too:
- Dungeon of the ENDLESS - Definitive Edition
- Master of Magic: Rise of the Soultrapped
- Murderous Muses
- Steel Division 2 - Men of Steel
See their full Autumn Sale Page for more.
Need help managing GOG games on Linux or Steam Deck? You can try my favourite third-part launcher Heroic.
Their sale ends September 11th, 2023, 10 PM UTC.
Quoting: Deleted_UserI'm always wondering about the selection of the recommendations by GOL when it comes to sales. The article was about the GOG sale. Since you mentioned ITAD, I recommend that you use their Waitlist feature. It supports RSS or email notifications too, which I use, so you will get notified as soon as a game you wishlisted there, on Steam or on GOG gets discounted on the service with the highest discount.
Also, despite the heated discussion, happy cake day Liam!
