I don't care for wrestling now, but way back in the day as a little kid I thought it was cool, and again during the "Monday Night Wars" and the rest of the "Attitude Era" in the WWF. After that asshole Vince McMahon bought ECW and WCW it went downhill, and a while after they split up the roster into Smackdown and RAW teams. I stopped watching for good. I'm glad that the AEW exists to challenge the WWE and hopefully not screw it up like TNA did, but I've still got no interest in it really.

But Randy "Macho Man" Savage is my favorite wrestler, then Hulk Hogan (was) 2nd, The Rock 3rd, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin 4th, and Rick Flair rounding out my top 5 at 5th. What's considered the greatest wrestling match of all time took place here in the Detroit area at the Pontiac Silverdome at WrestleMania III: Randy "Macho Man" Savage vs Ricky Steamboat. The Pontiac Silverdome might be long gone, but that legacy remains. An Amazon warehouse is now where it used to be. *sighs* lol

I've been playing 2 days now with the Netflix's mobile app on my way back from work, they added it to the catalogue. It's quite fun, recommendable.

1. The Road Warriors
2. The Mega Powers
3. D-Generation X
4. Too Cool
5. Rock 'N' Sock Connection

Oh, and as far as wrestling video games go. The best ones to me are WWF Smackdown! 2: Know Your Role on the PSX and WCW/NWO Revenge on the N64. Along with WWF WrestleMania: The Arcade Game. I really like the Sega Saturn port of that one. All three are a lotta fun.

That's just revisionistic :D

Go back to your favourites and tell me it wasn't "fake and dumb"

I've been fond of Andre the Giant for a long time, but mostly because he was in Princess Bride and seems to have been such a nice man.

They at least pretended to some degree..... Like when a guy gets beaten up real bad they would usually miss 1 or 2 shows to "sell" the beating....... Now they get run over by a car and are back the next night with a band-aid on their forehead....... And act like nothing happened...... If you want us to care you need to at least pretend you got run over......

That's just not true. As you say, you haven't even watched it in many years.

Roderick Strong lost via chokehold like 2 months ago. He still wears a neckbrace.
