SteamWorld Build is the latest in the SteamWorld series from Thunderful Development / Thunderful Publishing and they're once again entirely changing the genre for the series and turning it into a city-builder.
While previous games in the series including SteamWorld Dig, SteamWorld Dig 2, SteamWorld Heist and SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech all had Native Linux releases — this time SteamWorld Build will not as confirmed on their Steam forum. However, they also confirmed it will have full controller and Steam Deck support so no doubt it will run great with Proton (reports on ProtonDB from the demo show it running just fine).
