Grab the Steam Deck LCD 256GB for cheap as Valve gave it a discount

Valve just put the Steam Deck LCD 256GB on sale, so you can get ready for the upcoming Steam Autumn Sale ahead of time with some new hardware.

While the Steam Autumn Sale doesn't start until September 29th, right now you can go ahead and grab the Steam Deck LCD 256GB model with 20% off. This discount on the Steam Deck will run from now all the way through the Steam Autumn Sale until October 6th. So there's no hurry, but stocks also do tend to fly whenever Valve put the Steam Deck on a discount.

That makes it only £279.20 / $319.20, which is an absolutely ridiculous bargain for what you actually get. And with over 20,000 games playable on it, you're sure to find plenty to love about it. Just be sure to also keep an eye on our anti-cheat compatibility page, and our growing list of tips and guides.

Head over to the Steam store to buy one.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm actually going right back to playing on my Steam Deck.

Is this to clear the remaining stocks of the last lcd model to prepare for a lineup "adjustment"? emoji

That would be cool, but that's just wishful thinking on my part.

I still don't have a Steam Deck, but I do run Bazzite on my desktop. I learned early on that for me all mobile gaming gets old and the devices end up on shelf. emoji

Even as one hardcore mouse-and keyboard player with eyes getting old and blurry, i really love the steam deck. It melts into your hands like nothing else and i just like to hold it. Sure, many things are too small for me on that screen and i miss my keyboard, but i am old and not the reference user. The only thing i can find about it is the single usb-port thats solidly placed on the mainboard. The next revision would benefit from an easy replacable pcb with only that port on it.
But at this price? Hell yeah. Get it.

With how big games are getting nowadays (I've seen 100+ GB), with 256 GB you'll run into storage limits real quick. I have a 512 GB Deck and I've had to do some juggling.

I would love to get one of those, but unfortunately Valve won't sell me one...
