There's another game coming out that will have you clean up the bodies of massive creatures, with Kaiju Cleaner Simulator seeing you and friends team up for it. No battling here, it's all about the aftermath and what comes next.
I'll admit, I got a bit confused when this entered the GamingOnLinux inbox yesterday, because I actually thought it was one I had already covered called Kaiju Cleanup that was announced recently. You'll see my problem there right? One is Kaiju Cleanup and this is Kaiju Cleaner Simulator and both only recent reveals. Oh my. Seems two different teams had near enough the exact same idea. This doesn't seem to be some copycat though, as this game seemed to have a Steam page being prepared even before Kaiju Cleanup that just happened to be announced first it seems.
With Kaiju Cleaner Simulator, it's not solo game since up to 4 players can get cleaning together. A bit more chaotic perhaps than the other game. The developers mention this will lean into the more humorous and absurd side of things. In their own words: "Unexpected situations and quirky monster designs bring lighthearted moments to the gritty tasks of cleaning up after kaiju rampages, creating a perfect mix of dark comedy and simulation fun".
Check out the trailer below, which is a bit short on actual gameplay though:

Interesting to see their no AI notice at the start, I think we're about to see more developers do such things since there's an increasing amount of AI slop out there.
From the press release: “After watching Kaiju No. 8, we thought maybe being a kaiju cleaner is even tougher than being their exterminator. It’s a job for real tough guys. Our game is for those who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty and turn chaos into fun,” says One More Time.
A Steam playtest is scheduled to begin early next year. With a release planned sometime in Q2 2026.
