Here's a small bit of news but an interesting one for the upcoming Steam Frame from Valve, as Linaro recently revealed they're supporting Valve with it. We don't yet have any better details on when the Steam Frame will release, just sometime this year.
In a short statement they said:
Linaro, the leading engineering organization driving innovation in the Arm® ecosystem, is pleased to announce its collaboration with Valve - the creators of the iconic Half-Life series and the digital distribution platform Steam.
Linaro has spent the last fifteen years bringing companies and the open-source community together in the Arm ecosystem to build and deploy innovative Linux-based technology. Linaro is proud to have supported the recently announced Steam Frame on open-source Linux development and looks forward to continuing to support Linux on Arm gaming devices in the future.

There's a whole lot going on behind the scenes on the bring-up for the Steam Frame, like how Valve have been funding FEX to get x86 games on Arm Linux. We also found out recently that Valve's version of Android on Linux (based on Waydroid) is now called Lepton. On top of that we had the open source consultancy firm Igalia also announce their work towards both the Steam Frame and Steam Machine.
Quoting: LoudTechieWell, the forum is back online, so I think I can do that. While it is in transit, I can think about how to do this while keeping things private. One thing I can already tell you is that you have to calculate in the import costs. I expect those to be around 160 extra.Quoting: tfkI've ordered the FLX1s bundle. Let's see if this phone will set me free of Google's claws. Can we see too, when you do?

Quoting: tfkThe import costs are unfortunate but I paid those with the PinePhone as well. For a very small team they're doing wonders, I really hope it takes off this year and they can get established. I know you'll enjoy the FLX1s 😀Quoting: LoudTechieWell, the forum is back online, so I think I can do that. While it is in transit, I can think about how to do this while keeping things private. Quoting: fabertaweYeah. Just wanted to be transparent when looking at the price. But I am excited about this device. The hardware switches to switch off stuff on the hardware level is very nice. I hope the experience will be almost the same as on my desktop machines. A device which I am the administrator of, not Google and definitely not Microsoft. Me. And being able to install common Linux apps via an open repository.Quoting: tfkThe import costs are unfortunate but I paid those with the PinePhone as well. I've tested Pure Maps on my desktop. That looks like the perfect replacement of Google Maps. Nice map view, and it turns into a 3D map mode when entering a route. Very cool.
But now I have to wait for the shipping to complete.
