With a fresh month here now it's February 2026, here's your most up to date look at what has been popular for players on the Steam Deck.
A lot of it is not exactly a surprise, as is often the case each month but it's still an interesting look into what people are playing on Valve's handheld across the globe.
Valve keep a dedicated list for this on Steam that's always up to date, so based on their data over January 3rd - February 1st, the top 50 most played titles are below along with the Steam Deck Verified rating:
Additionally, looking over Valve's global weekly top sellers list (by revenue) the Steam Deck has still repeatedly been in the top 5 so far this year:
- Tue, December 30, 2025 - Tue, January 6, 2026: 4th.
- Tue, January 6, 2026 - Tue, January 13, 2026: 3rd.
- Tue, January 13, 2026 - Tue, January 20, 2026: 3rd.
- Tue, January 20, 2026 - Tue, January 27, 2026: 3rd.
Going back even further, the Steam Deck has been repeatedly in the top 5 for a long time with only a few times where it wasn't. It costs a lot more than games though but some games shift a ridiculous amount of units or micro-transactions each week so it shows Valve continue to keep on shipping lots of Steam Decks.
Over to you in the comments - what have you been playing the most recently?
Over to you in the comments - what have you been playing the most recently? For January I completed Unpacking, Hellblade 2 (streamed from my desktop to the Deck), Gabriel Knight and most of Gabriel Knight 2 (with Luxtorpeda).
Only addon I'm using is voxeldoom (As mentioned on this very site).
Graphics: Classic setting 320x200 with 4x3 aspect ratio.
However control is a bit more modern via trackball and keyboard.
Now I'm playing Moonlighter... Nice casual game to kill some time.
As far as my preference through that time frame- Slots and Daggers, Dispatch, SilkSong, Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2, and Deep Rock Survivor have all consumed my gaming time on deck and desk.
Quoting: Aaron SparksFascinating data for sure. I saw a different article by SteamDeckHQ that showed Stardew Valley at #1, but the data pull was dated January 4-February 2, as opposed to January 3-February 1.Yeah, the data will change based on when you grab it, as Valve's charts are always up to date, so ours is actually a bit more true to January since we grabbed it earlier.
