Go through exorcisms to collect souls and repeatedly click through a vast network of additional upgrades and abilities in SCOPECREEP.

A bit of an odd but curious combination this one. Starting off with nothing, you're told by some strange creature to go collect some souls. Featuring elements of a tower defense game where you slowly manually move around the central creature in the middle, to fire off your torch to exorcise wandering spirits to collect them as a resource. If dangerous spirits hit you, your timer for the current exorcism gets reduced. Once your timer is up, you go back to the big network of upgrades to boost everything you can and off you go to do another exorcism.

Eventually you build up a huge assortment of different abilities, and it all gets a bit crazy.

Once you've gone through the first couple runs, the game expands to include more features like a Mausoleum that acts a bit like achievements which gives you bonuses and more.

SCOPECREEP is weirdly meditative and has a demo worth checking out with a Native Linux build. Really enjoyed what I saw from this one.
