Publisher Dotemu have revealed their space strategy game Battlestar Galactica: Scattered Hopes is now set to release May 11th. Developed by Alt Shift, Battlestar Galactica: Scattered Hopes builds on their previous game, Crying Suns.
Set in the same universe as the popular (and really good) sci-fi TV series, Battlestar Galactica: Scattered Hopes puts you into a tense, ever-changing roguelite-style fight for your fleet's survival. For those who have watched the show, plenty of it is inspired by the events of episode "33" where Galactica is forced to FTL (fast than light) jump every 33 minutes to get away from the Cylon threat.
In Scattered Hopes, every decision matters and could be the difference between escape or destruction. It's a game of constant choices with limited options. Choose between critical repairs, internal conflicts, a bit of exploration, resource gathering and of course - combat. With a mixture of real-time and tactical combat, along with the roguelite setting, no two runs are the same.

So say we all.
As a BSG diehard fan, there's no way I am not trying this game anyway.
