Valve released another small update to Proton Experimental for June 1st, to bring in some fixes for running Windows games on Linux / SteamOS.
As a brief little reminder on what it is - Proton Experimental is like their testing ground for future stable numbered version Proton updates (like the upcoming Proton 11 that's currently in Beta). You can install any version of Proton by just searching for "Proton" in your Steam Library. If you already have them installed, they will just show up as updates in your Steam Downloads. Check out the recently updated GamingOnLinux Guide to all the different Proton versions.
From the changelog they list these as now playable:
- Warhammer: Dark Omen (Classic)
- Portal Worlds
And these issues are noted to be fixed:
- Fixed saves not working in Hyperdevotion Noire: Goddess Black Heart
- Fixed audio distortion in intro video of Warhammer 40,000: Dakka Squadron - Flyboyz Edition.
- Fixed Forza Horizon 6 closing after system suspend/resume.
- Fixed Proton 11 regressions:
- Homeworld 2 Classic from Homeworld Remastered Collection should now behave correctly on alt+tab.
- SHOGUN: Total War no longer should end up on a black screen after alt+tab.

There was also another update to Proton Experimental towards the end of March that had a bunch more fixes. We also had Proton 11 Beta 5 recently too as Valve work towards the next stable version.
