I do like tower defence games (and yes I spell it defence), but Alien Robot Monsters didn’t really offer all that much.
Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is a 1-2 coop space shooter, exactly my type of game and thanks to GOG we have a copy to test.
I took a look at Gryphon Knight Epic a good looking retro-inspired shoot ‘em up from Cyber Rhino Studios.
As a big fan of the old Syndicate, I’ve waited for this day for a long time. So, how is Satellite Reign on Linux?
Armello is a game of chance, trickery and cards as you try to outwit your opponents at every turn to become the King.
Maia is a close favourite project of mine, and I really can’t wait to see it get more content. Thankfully the latest version has been released today, so I took a look.
I do love my FPS games, but I'm not entirely sure about Illuminascii. It mixes traditional graphics with ASCII for a really cool effect, but the gameplay isn't all that great.
DiRT Showdown has fantastic performance, but it did suffer from an annoying bug, and it looks like it has now been fixed.
With all the big titles coming to Linux, it is easy to miss the smaller ones. You do not always want to invest hours of your life building an empire or engaging in epic quests. Sometimes you just want to blast some alien bugs for a few minutes while your coffee is brewing. The game I am looking into today lets you do exactly that.
I’m not always a fan of combat racers, but wow BlazeRush is quite a surprise to find. I've actually been having a lot of fun with it.
Here I am pointing out another game you should probably avoid on Linux. This time it’s the turn of MadOut, a combat racer that’s just not good.
Feral Interactive have ported yet another excellent game, and this time we are graced with Company Of Heroes 2!
The new Unreal Tournament has been updated again, and it's sporting a fresh coat of paint on the main menu, amongst other changes.
After a little miscommunication it turns out Celestian Tales: Old North did release as originally planned day-1 on Linux, and I managed to give it a go and write down some thoughts for you.
TerraTech is my latest discovery and purchase, after the developers fixed up the input issues in the demo, I was able to see that it's quite an interesting vehicle combat game.
The Crookz is styled all like the 70s. Hair is growing wild and the colours are, too. And I'm a 70s child, I was eager to try it. The demo is available now!
Absolute Drift was mailed in by a user (thanks), and having given it a go it’s one of the weirdest experiences I have ever had.
Time to dust off your skateboard's as OlliOlli2 Welcome To Olliwood has been released for Linux the same day as other platforms, hooray for same-day releases!
BOMB: Who let the dogfight? An interesting name, but the game is so bad it makes me want to forget it. Sadly it's not one of those "so bad it's good" types, it's just poor.
Interplanetary is a very intriguing game about firing missiles, railguns and lots of fancy weapons from your planet, to an enemy planet, and it’s quite good.
