If you can't login to World of Warcraft or WoW Classic on Linux, here's a quick fix for now
It seems Blizzard have been having some issues with World of Warcraft and the newer WoW Classic with them coming under a DDoS attack. Their countermeasures seem to have blocked Linux players in Wine but there's a fix.
- Zork I, Zork II and Zork III are now officially open source
- Valve put up a new Steam Linux Runtime 4.0 with a move towards 64-bit
- VKD3D-Proton 3.0 brings FSR4 support, shader backend rewrite, lots of bug fixes and performance upgrades
- Playnite may get a Linux version during 2026 as the creator plans a move to Linux
- Steamworks SDK adds support for Linux Arm and Android, and it seems we know the first Android game on Steam
