Stratus: Battle For The Sky looks like a pretty great RTS game, as a fan of the classic Netstorm Islands at War I am looking forward to this different form of strategy game coming to Linux.
The game finally has its finished version available on Steam since November 17th. If you count all the reviews from Steam users so far, it has collected 187 positive ones against 6 negatives only. There is also a demo available.
I have been waiting for this one! Anima Gate of Memories looks fantastic and we don't have many good third person action RPG.
If you're in the mood for a good-looking 2D RPG with turn-based battles you may want to know that 'The Great Whale Road' is now on Linux.
Tower Unite is an interesting MMO, it's a community-based virtual world full of other games to play online. An interesting concept, sounds a bit like Second Life to me.
The enhanced remake of this indie game will be getting a Linux release on launch. Players will be able to explore a mysterious world where their actions have consequences and multiple endings abound.
I am keeping an ever watchful eye over Maia hoping that it eventually gets polished up enough to be something great. This new update sure does sound nice, but sadly the game still lacks a lot of polish.
If you're looking to play an adventure game but you don't have a lot of time, then you may be interested to check "Sisyphus Reborn", a lightweight (300 MB) and short existential adventure that will only take you 40 minutes to finish (and that includes getting all the achievements).
This is really great news! The Station, one of those promising upcoming games I covered recently has not only been Greenlit, but they have hit their Kickstarter funding goal too.
Ballistic Overkill, the cheap and fun online FPS has a major update. Included in this update are the first lot of skins to grab for free after matches complete and the progression system to unlock weapons is now in too.
I am really excited to see more of the psychological horror game ‘Tether’, so I spoke with the Creative Director about what we can expect from it.
Now this is what I like to see, patches full of free content! Moon Hunters has gained such a patch and here's what's new.
Ittle Dew 2 is a Zelda-like action and adventure game from Ludosity that is now available on Linux, thanks to the day-1 release.
Planetary Annihilation: TITANS has been revived and then some. This massive new patch focuses on performance and turns it up to max.
Well this game certainly came out of nowhere, Ghostlords is a turn-based RPG set in a ruined Great Britain where you capture ghosts. Being a brit myself, I had to try it.
I love Tower Defence games, so I'm always will to give a new one a go. Fiery Disaster mixes the genre up a bit, as you don't actually place any towers.
Project Zomboid, the zombie survival sandbox game has two new big features in their beta right now. A Factions system to bring survivors together and VOIP chat for survivors near each other.
Retro-Pixel Castles is such a great godlike village simulator I hope more of you check it out, it's going through a constant evolution and it's damn good now.
Daedalus is yet another space sci-fi game on Kickstarter that promises Linux support. The developer told me that Linux is for sure a release platform.
I've said it before and I will say it again, I think Albion Online is going to be amazing for Linux gamers in desperate need of an MMO. This next huge content update further shows how much effort they are putting in.
