Best Buds vs Bad Guys is another game that has sadly seen a delay of the Linux version. I'm a little sour here since I funded it on Kickstarter (broke my own rule there!).
Ethan Lee sent out a teaser tweet earlier about Owlboy, as it seems he is porting it and wanted to get in first before it ends up popping up on SteamDB.
It seems GSC Game World have run into a few technical issues with their new DLC for Cossacks 3, so they have pushed back the DLC release date which has also delayed the Linux version.
Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, a hardcore tactical stealth game set in Japan which has gameplay similar to the Commandos series now has a demo for Linux, right near release.
Edge Of Eternity is a really fantastic looking indie tribute to the J-RPG classics and the developers have confirmed Linux will not see a release until Vulkan is stable in Unity.
Kingdoms and Castles is a city-building game set in what looks like middle ages. It has some really cute graphics and it's confirmed for a Linux release.
Stratus: Battle For The Sky looks like a pretty great RTS game, as a fan of the classic Netstorm Islands at War I am looking forward to this different form of strategy game coming to Linux.
I think this title has a lot of potential, because after a successful Kickstarter campaign the developers claim they were funded by Nordic Games without sacrificing the creative control of the project, so basically the quality of the game now simply relies on how talented they are and how well they spend the budget on the game.
This is really great news! The Station, one of those promising upcoming games I covered recently has not only been Greenlit, but they have hit their Kickstarter funding goal too.
I know a few people who will be happy about this! Event[0] is to gain a Linux beta shortly after the developers got the Linux build to run smooth and stable.
