Carnivore Land is a new and quite promising looking top down zombie shooter now in Early Access, and it's available for us of course.

I'm pretty excited about Dying Light: The Following, as the basic gameplay in Dying Light was really fun, and I need more.

We've been pretty patient waiting for Contagion to come to Linux, and we haven't been forgotten about. The developers will be visiting Valve this year to speak about it.

Codename CURE is a reasonable well rated first-person shooter on Steam, and it has been updated to include a Linux version.

I do love Dying Light (apart from the ending), and it looks like it will get a fresh coat of paint soon with new content.

Don't let "free to play" turn you off, as with over 130 thousand reviews, it's overall rating is "Very Positive" on Steam.

Just a little warning if you were thinking of picking up '7 Days to Die', they just release Alpha 12 which has completely broken Mac & Linux builds.

Project Zomboid is easily one of the best Zombie survival games around, build 32 adds a lot of new stuff, and Steam integration is coming soon.

Duke Nukem 3D. Shadow Warrior. Blood. All built on the Build engine, these three games when taken collectively are often referred to as the Big Three, and they are now all available for Linux from GOG. But just how well has GOG done in bringing these classic '90s shooters into the modern era?

Splatter - Blood Red Edition is a fantastic looking top-down shooter that features a film-noir styled single-player campaign. I decided to pick it up now the developer has put up a test branch on Steam, and found it to be fantastic.

The day has arrived, not only do we have a new DLC for Dying Light, but the Linux performance patch I previewed for you has also been released! To quote a film I saw recently “what a lovely day!”.

Contagion is the Source engine powered Zombie shooter from Monochrome, Inc that was funded on Kickstarter. We have some clarification as to what is going on, as we have been waiting a long time.

While it's sad we aren't getting the initial release of Killing Floor 2, we should see it sooner rather than later going by their most recent comments.

It's no secret that Dying Light doesn't perform well on Linux, and we are currently left out in the cold as far as Steam Workshop support goes, but that should change.

Another bit of annoyance for Dying Light fans. Techland have release an update for Dying Light adding in workshop support for mods, and the mod tools to go along with it. The kicker is that it all needs Windows.

Now that I've pumped many, many hours into Dying Light, it’s time to give my real thoughts on it. Spoilers may be contained within.

Tripwire have announced that Killing Floor 2 will be released on the 21st of April into Early Access, but we have it confirmed Linux is not in the initial release.

PC Gamer has a bit of a world exclusive, they managed to get the Killing Floor 2 developers in to play with them, and we have the video for you.

Hooray for Techland! Dying Light is finally playable on Linux, so you can join us in having some cake. It's not perfect, but far far better! (UPDATED)
