Quoting: cRaZy-bisCuiTCD project red answered to me, that there's currently no linux version to be announced. What's wrong with them? >.<
Was it in an email? Can you show it to us? Just curious.

Going to be optimistic and say that most probably CDPR want to make a Linux version but won't give a direct answer to anyone until they have something solid in their hands.

Remember folks, they've already dipped their toes in Linux once with Witcher 2 and wasn't exactly a stellar launch. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't want to rush things and make sure it works as fans expect it to. I don't mind waiting as long as they're still doing it and doing it right.

Anyway, without a source I wouldn't pay much attention to it. If you want more informative response, contact e-mails which were referenced above in this thread already.

They never reply to me anywhere I try. I would be surprised if it did ever come to Linux. If it did, CDPR won't be the ones who did it.

Did you try [email protected]?

May be, may be not. It makes more sense for them to work on their engine in-house, since they'll keep that expertise. Outsourcing such kind of work is just a bad idea. But so far they didn't provide any information to say either way, so we'll have to wait and see.

Strategy update from CDPR:

Some good plans for GOG expansion, but literally no mention of any Linux plans for TW3. Too bad IMHO.

Too bad for us and for Valve. It looks like what Valve has announced a year ago during GDC was just a false advertising. CD Projekt Red did not even officially comment what Valve has announced since last March.

Today they had the Q&A session too. May be someone asked them about Linux (though I suspect their shareholders aren't Linux types). Their previous Q&A can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MyMiT4OUy4

The new one might end up on-line later too.

@wojtek88: May be someone could buy some of their stock, and then ask Linux questions on shareholders meeting ;)

I tried sending them an e-mail recently.
