This is the Linux engine for Tomb Raider 1 (1996), 2 (1997), 3 (1998), Last Revelation (1999) and Chronicles (2000) which is available at https://sourceforge.net/projects/opentomb/

Anyone got this up and running on Ubuntu 14.04?

I've been to the guide at http://vobject.github.io/blog/2014/02/16/build-opentomb-on-linux/ and absolutely cannot build it on my system.

Any help would be appreciated.

I could not build or launch that before too, but now it's easy to build it with simple "cmake . && make" using source code from https://github.com/opentomb/OpenTomb
Also, there's a new impressive project, OpenLara: https://github.com/XProger/OpenLara (Linux builds are available). It even has a first person perspective mode! And you can play in your browser here: http://xproger.info/projects/OpenLara/
