How to setup OpenMW for modern Morrowind on Linux / SteamOS and Steam Deck
How to install Hollow Knight: Silksong mods on Linux, SteamOS and Steam Deck
I've downloaded a controller layout but only the right trackpad works (as a mouse). Neither the analog stick nor any buttons work, neither in the menu nor ingame. I can however use the Xbox 360 controller without any problems.
Does anyone here play SOMA with the Steam Controller? Did you have any issues?
The problems seems to be xboxdrv. The only way to make SOMA detect the Steam controller correctly is by killing xboxdrv, unplugging the xbox controller (well, the receiver) is not enough.
Now, instead of autostarting xboxdrv I've just made a shortcut to the startup script on the desktop, and another script with "killall xboxdrv". That way I can just manually start it when I need to use the xbox controller. Not the neatest workaround, but it works.
