You are out of luck. Even Internet Archive Wayback Machine cannot retrieve the possible update page. You better rebuy it on Steam...

It's too bad. I lost all my installed (and fully up to date) games, so I'm stuck with DVD versions now as well. And only X3 accepted the LGP serial on Steam (even though it is not the same port). Pretty decent from Egosoft.

I have a great news.

Eskild Hustvedt sent me patches for this game, and I sent them to the people from holarse:

Many of the patches for games published by LGP you can download from this website:

http://files.holarse-linuxgaming.de/native/Spiele/

I do not know when they will publish these patches on their website because they wanted to verify them.

I have this version from Steam too, but I did not play it.

Where can I buy a standard edition of X3? I have a special edition of this game, but I want to have a standard edition of this game, too.
