I inadvertently marked the 26th anniversary of Doom being released by building Crispy Doom and finally having a go at SIGIL.

Credit to Nerve for actually making a Spiderdemon fight intimidating. :O

@Hamish

Try brutal doom mod. It's completely different experience vs original.

Testing out Swiftshader's Vulkan implementation using vkquake. You can see the all cores/threads were being utilized :)

Today I learned about the fantastic Doom 2 total conversion mod called [Pirate Doom](https://www.moddb.com/mods/pirate-doom/downloads). It's basically Monkey Island meets Doom and I tell you it's one hell of a good one. The level design and variety is very well done and it comes with 18 of them.

Played using GZDoom:

Here's a screenshot from a new game (full version got released yesterday!), [Fury Unleashed](https://store.steampowered.com/app/465200/Fury_Unleashed/).

It's a very fun roguelite reminiscent of Metal Slug.

Don't pay too much attention to the RAM usage, MangoHud displays global memory usage, not just memory taken by the game.

I see also 253 FPS, you don't use V-sync or frame limiter?

Yeah, I have a 144hz monitor and I play most games with V-sync off and uncapped framerate.

Yeah, it's an extremely fun game.

It's a great game to pick up and play in short bursts (I usually set out to do 1 run, but end up doing 2-3 more runs).

Give this thread some love again!

Recompiled the DevilutionX project from github after many months, to my surprise the game now scales to your native resolution. Diablo 1 in ultrawide, never thought I'd see this.
