Can't speak for anybody else, but on my AMD Radeon RX480 I've had the best results with CSMT enabled (who'd thunk, eh?) in winecfg as well as the following env variables set:
env WINEDEBUG=-all __GL_THREADED_OPTIMIZATIONS=1 __GL_YIELD=USLEEP __GL_SYNC_TO_VBLANK=0 wine64 <yourwineapp>In the sinner that started it - world of warcraft - I experienced a massive fps increase in my druid order hall with DirectX11, jumping from 15-25fps and up to 25-85fps. Numbers of course differ depending on where I am, but generally my framerate has increased radically all over the game.

Improvement is very good without csmt: cpu usage is lower (core 0 dont stay at 99% in vanilla) and dont show screen flickering like vanilla only
And with csmt give huge fps boost

I tried it as-is with NeverWinter Online, and in the main city (Protector's Enclave) I got a +15 FPS increase. However, the increase in frame rate was negated by awful stuttering and random graphical glitches.
I'm not really familiar with all the terminology surrounding wine so I left all settings to "default". I'm downloading WoW now so should be able to test that shortly as well. Presumably, CSMT is already enabled in 3.3 so no need to worry about that?
