For those of you interested the Magic Leap One runs Linux and some sort of android that's called Lumin OS

Unreal Engine

Unity 3D

Magic Leap SDK

QuoteLumin OS is a custom OS derived from open source components such as Linux and AOSP, designed specifically for the unique requirements of spatial computing. While it borrows many open-source components from established operating systems like Android, many are custom-built to the high performance requirements of spatial computing.

From the Magic Leap SDK portal, you need to sign up but it is free.

IMHO the biggest investor scam in a looong time. Not saying that the product isn't real, but what has been revealed after all the secrecy is far from the hype and with a FOV of 30-40° or so really not that exciting for future AR. Yes it is smaller and probably of higher quality than the Microsoft AR headsets, but that's about it.

Maybe they can boost the FOV in the future, but the technology seems limited in that regard. Not an expert on it though.
