oppening all games in one workspace (i3wm)
Exidan Apr 20, 2018
Hi everyone, I'm trying to make my games open in a separate workspace. Until now, I can only do this if the games open in the same workspace as Steam (using class=(?)Steam). but I wanted to open steam and steam windows on one workspace, and the games in another. Have any of you done this?

Quoting: GuestCan't you just move the game to another workspace with Mod+Shift+<Number> ?
Yes, but not what I want.

The obvious choice is to make a long list of patterns in i3-config, but I guess that is what you want to avoid.

You could do something like this in steam option for each game, although I guess that takes long as well.
