Anyone try these out?

A little disappointing that there isn't a Linux version of Warcraft I since it runs in dosbox.

The Warcraft II version should run fine in wine but I don't have time to try it out for a while.

Can confirm Warcraft 1 uses DOSBox, however you may have to make a few settings first such as mounting the CD image, running the Warcraft setup.exe program to setup the sound and setting the CPU cycles to 30,000. Aside from that it works as expected:

I always started with WC2, this is the first time I'm playing this game :)

Update: I also tried Warcraft 2, this a Windows game so you'll need Wine to play it. No special workarounds are required and works pretty much out of the box. Make sure to run the game from the "Warcraft II BNE_dx.exe" file.

First Diablo, now Warcraft. It's not so far-fetched now that we could see StarCraft getting released on GOG.com in the near future as well. That would be an instantaneous buy for me!
