I'm tryng to find a PCIE NVME hardware RAID HBA with the following features:
an onboard IO processor
onboard RAM
support for online expansion and migration
multi HBA support, ie, i can add a second HBA and administer it via the first controller card, adding block devices from.the second hba to an existing array on the first hba
support for raid levels 0,1,5,6,10,50,jbod and single device passthrough
SMART support
Event logging and notification
Bonus if it can support a battery backup unit(BBU), and has pins for and LED strip
I'm not "too" concerned with cost(unless it's in the 10s of thousands of doallars range), I'm willing to go as high as $2000 for such a card.
Maybe I'm just not looking at the right mfrs....or maybe the NVME HBA device market just hasn't reached that point yet.
If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears and would greatly appreciate any and all input.
thanks in advance everyone.
