Title: DwarfCorp is less than $2000 away from Linux stretch goal!
n30p1r4t3 11 Aug 2013
The Kickstarter campaign for Dwarfcorp sits at $23,389 at the time of writing this article and that is just shy of the $25k Linux stretch goal.

Mac and Linux Port By porting the game from XNA to Monogame, we will be able to support a wider variety of platforms, including Linux and Mac OSX natively.
About the game:

The game look and feels a bit like minecraft, but the gameplay revolves around you mining to increase profits while keeping your workers happy.

As they put it:
Dig deep into the earth to discover rare gems and ores, and send them back to the motherland in a balloon or ship. Defend your colony with walls, traps, and mercenaries. Promote your employees for their good work, or give them a slap if they get sloppy. Meet Elves, Goblins, Mole Men, Demons and more!. Design your company logo and color scheme, and watch your company stock rise and fall against your competitors!
Pre-Alpha Gameplay:

I myself am a backer and with 12 days left it seems impossible for this game not to reach this stretch goal. So if you're interested, please go on over and show your support!

Disclaimer: As with all games, take caution when purchasing a game for Linux that doesn't have a Linux build already.
