Hi all, Steam Survey for September is live and we're seeing a clear upwards trend.

I've updated our Steam Tracker: https://www.gamingonlinux.com/steam-tracker/

The thing that I find really strange is how the language distribution fluctuates so much. This is something I would expect to be much more stable. Probably says something about how big or how balanced their sample size is.

I suspect that the big swings are when they just made something up because they'd miscounted China. I haven't bothered to check them all, but I know that at least some of them are months where they've put out clearly shonky numbers and then gone back and changed them to something else.

I've been looking at the overall numbers not just linux, what also suprises me is comparing different generations of GPUs, Directx11 /10 /9, the only one that's growing in percentage is Directx 8 generation cards.

Also the 5600 xt is off to a great start with a improvent on percentage of 0.19 which seems great for the first month.
