Battle.net crashing on startup with "Scan for Games"

Seems the recent bnet update forces the "Scan for Games" screen to open on launch, which crashes Battle.Net immediately. The logs aren't very interesting looking:

Not sure what to diagnose here. This is w/ the latest Fedora, and I'm using Lutris.

Well, I played with the Wine version being used; it was some ancient 4.9 I used; I'm trying Proton 5.13 and I had some initial difficulty (seems second try worked w/o anything special), but it might be working. I'll see how it goes.

Update: It does work, Overwatch works, but *man* is the cursor behaviour buggy with switching windows (or something not even!). I get cases like where the UI cursor is handling when it should be moving the in-game aim.
