I'm sure everyone on this board knows what Open Source means. Some people in Chicago, about 8 years ago began a conference dedicated to all that is Open Source. From Linux Distributions, to SDL to OpenGl to just people downloading VLC to play their videos.
If you in the ballpark of Chicagoland, come on over.
The Conference is totally FREE and is filled with workshops, talks, panels and free food.
More information can be found on [http://flourishconf.com/2014/](http://flourishconf.com/2013/) and you can also register on [http://flourishconf.com/2014/register.php](http://flourishconf.com/2014/register.php)
If you will like to give a talk or sponsor it that will be great too.
It has been an awesome conference down through the years.
The Conference is currently being planed for April 2014.
Let's make year 8 great!
I need a Devon based Linux thing.

SCALE is held right near LAX, so relatively cheap travel for many US denizens not too far away from a major airport
e.g. Denver $164 roundtrip
