For laughs I decided I should try Boxtron and Star Wars: Dark Forces on the Steam Deck. Hooked my USB-C to MIDI adapter on up and installed Boxtron via flatpak... but then couldn't really get it to show up under the compatibility selection. The other issue is getting timidity on the system so that boxtron can talk to a MIDI device. I've got this set up on my desktop system, and it's working quite well. But I also manually installed boxtron into the compatibility.d directory, and have figured out all of the details to get the Roland MT32 or SC88 Pro to work (it sounds lovely).

Anyone else attempt to get MIDI setup on the Steam Deck?
