I am an old timer (62yo) CS player and was really happy to see the Linux community pushing forth gaming on linux this is good news for me since I am a linux veteran user since 97, lately I been itching to get back into action with CSGO. I put together this brand new rig:
Motherboard Asus b660-Plus
32 gb Memory
Hd 1t SSD
GC nvidia GTX 1660 super
All spanking new, with a fresh install of Nobara linux built on a fedora 36 distro all working fine and I get an error like this inside the CSGO playing dust2 "Pure server: file [GAME]\pak01_001.vpk does not match the server's file" I already did all the procedure mentioned in (https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/1A06-BC6C-B2EA-1FD2) to no avail the error persists what else can I do? can some1 more knowledgeable help me please? TIA
