My system readout
You can note your issue below here
I installed Prey (2017) using the DRM free download on gog.com with Wine. Everything is working fine except for this weird blue "fog" (probably a draw distance thing) that appears in outdoors environments. Image is attached below.
Note any particular steps to reproduce it below here
I have not been able to find any other people experiencing this problem online, and have not seen the issue in any gameplay footage of the game.

EDIT: I solved this issue by adding the game as a non-steam game to steam, and then running it using Proton 8.0-2 in the compatibility settings. This has not only eliminated the blue fog issue, but also made the game run with a more stable framerate.

The easiest way to try this outside of Steam is with a game launcher like Lutris or Heroic. They'll handle Wine versions and runtimes like DXVK for you, or at least make managing them very easy.
I had previously tried both Lutris and Heroic. Lutris refuses to detect my dedicated GPU on my laptop and only works using the integrated one. While Heroic always crashes whenever I try to launch Prey with my dedicated GPU. I solved this problem earlier by adding the game as a non-steam game to steam. And then running it using Proton 8.0-2.
