This is just an info topic about something I found out a few months ago and it seems that Intel still haven't fixed, so I decided to share what I know. No need to reply, unless you want to.

If a program - any chat program like Discord or Telegram, Steam, web browser, mail client, etc - crashes and closes upon resuming from system suspend (sleep) or hybernation (deep sleep), run it again and find in its settings anything that reads "hardware acceleration" and disable it. The culprit is the library named libva, whose developer (according to the internet) is Intel. I tried to report that problem to Intel but found it to be impossible bc I kept bounced from link to link on their support page and never found any form to report problems, so the only hope is that someone with developers connections in Intel will see this and report it to them. But until then - disable hardware acceleration in your program, IF you experience the described crashes.
