Well with system installed

QuoteRyzen 5 4600G (6 cores - 12 threads) oc (3.700mhz stock) to 4.300mhz for all cores

Vega 7 IGP (448 shaders - 28 tmus - 8 rops according techpowerup gpu database) oc (1.900mhz stock) to 2.300mhz

CPU-Heatsink: Scythe Mugen 5 Black Edition

Mushkin Redline 16GB DDR4 of 4133mhz 1.4v CAS 19 (2 sticks)

Mainboard MSI Pro B550-VC

Curiously with oc, gkrell cpufreq plugin dont work but xfce cpu indicator show maximum frecuency only

Back to testing at hot wheels unleashed using low settings with high textures

On uhd 630 (GSkill DDR4 3600mhz CAS 18 dual channel) game run 29 to 30fps using 100% of gpu (recording dont possible because if gpu stay in 100% appear huge frame loss and huge audio desync)

And now with vega 7 oc game run 60fps using only 50 to 55% of gpu (recording are possible now)

Resuming a simple seek vega 7 oc seems give around 3.5 to 4x improvement compared uhd 630

More updates

When i had gtx 1050 with core i3 8350k oc 4.5ghz, nier automata dont be possible recording because gpu up to 100%

according before i think test nier automata for see gpu limits but using same settings with vega 7 oc...........

only use around 80% of gpu and for before is possible recording without fps loss and audio de sync

since last time use amd gpu on linux around 2011, improvement since these times is mind blowing

and steam on wine dont give a system freeze like as intel gpu with xubuntu 24.04, aka in my case something seem dont right with intel gpu and xubuntu 24.04

Other interesting case is elderborn, with uhd 630 only give 30fps with gpu at 100%

but with vega 7 oc give this:

mrdeathjr Dec 14, 2023
This titles have low fps with uhd 630:

Dead Rising 2 with many zombies stay around 35fps and use uhd 630 at 100%

now with vega 7 oc

Atelier Ryza: only give 30fps with 100% of usage on uhd 630

now with vega 7 oc

Update

Testing vega 7 @ 2300mhz with rpcs3 and yuzu appear huge improvement compared uhd-630

rpcs3 (same settings used on uhd 630)

on the house of the dead 4 uhd 630 shows heavy stutter and fps dont pass 20fps with gpu at 100%

yuzu (same settings used on uhd 630)

on super mario odyssey uhd 630 have heavy stutter and some little freezes when use dinosaur
