That sounds like your cookies are screwed up. Look for the "gol_youtube_consent" cookie, what does the value give you? :S it should only ever be "yup" or "nope" if it's set, that's all we ever do with it. If you don't have the cookie at all, it will show the privacy box (same with if it's set to nope).

Edit: I've done a tweak, so if it's anything other than "yup" it will show the consent box. Should fix it if someone somewhere edited your cookie, like a plugin. But, this would mean they've all been broken in articles for you too??

No, I don't have this issue in articles strangely. ^^ In fact I have a extension that redirect to Invidious instances, so I see that Invidious's thumbnail in articles just fine. But here it's not the case, I don't know why, only you can find out. ^^
