Don't be scared of trying BRAIN / OUT due to it being free to play, I was actually quite impressed with it when I tried it a while ago. This new game mode adds in some more variety to the gameplay.
OpenRA is a fantastic game engine, which enables you to play Command & Conquer, Command & Conquer: Red Alert and Dune 2000 on Linux. The latest test release is rather nice too.
Do you like blowing things up? How about blowing things up in a cartoon-like setting? Tons of weapons? Tons of enemies? State of Anarchy: Master of Mayhem seems to have it all.

You probably don't remember, but we reported on Solstice Chronicles: MIA coming to Linux way back in February. Obviously a lot of time has passed, but it's still coming.
If you're tired, ill or just downright lazy, you might want to take a look at the recently released Lazy Galaxy. The game is currently in Early Access, but even so it's showing a lot of promise.
