As part of the ongoing 17th anniversary celebration, GOG have announced another expansion of their GOG Preservation Program.
This is where they promise to ensure games continue working smoothly. GOG will provide ongoing updates as issues appear with modern systems. While this is mainly for Windows, it should also mean they will work smoothly with Wine / Proton on Linux too.
From September 29th these additional titles were added with most on sale too:
Gothic 1 - 75% off
Gothic 2 Gold Edition - 75% off
Necronomicon: The Dawning of Darkness - 80% off
Mortal Kombat Trilogy - 35% off
XIII Century: Gold Edition - 85% off
Stranglehold - 80% off
There's quite a lot of titles now included in it. A great initiative by the GOG team.
In other related news GOG recently had the Tomb Raider Definitive Survivor Trilogy released, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and an upgrade to their user reviews.
See all of it on the GOG store.
