Mesa 12.0.6 has released and it brings with it a bunch of bug fixes. While the latest stable version is Mesa 13.0.3, those sticking with the older Mesa 12 will still like their fixes.
Marek Olšák sent in another patch to Mesa that is now in Mesa-git which should hopefully be a better fix for black transitions in The Witcher 2 on radeonsi (AMD).
The developers of Monumental Failure sent over a key for me to test out their hilarious and totally historically accurate game about building monuments.
The guys over at itch are doing some truly interesting work. The itch store is open to all developers, they have an open source client and they talk openly about their work. A developer of their games client has written up about how they compress data for downloads.
Wine 2.0-rc6 is now available and it brings in another 21 bug fixes which should make this a seriously stable release. It has no new features, as they are in a code freeze.
