Yeah lol and multiplayer games exist outside of DRM and anti-cheat space.

To compare, Simplified Chinese are 24%, Russian 9%, Spanish 4% while being responsible for much smaller revenue percentage than English-speaking markets.

I've owned Mordheim:CotD for several years from GoG and can highly recommend it, but fair warning:

If you think XCOM is hard, Mordheim will eat man-thing up and spit man-thing out like day-old Wyrdstone/Warpstone dust, yes-yesemojiemoji. It's also a much slower-paced game that punishes haste with total-party-kills.

The game stays reasonably close to the tabletop version, while being much less expensive. More-so than its relative Total War: Warhammer, even.

The DLC characters/factions do nothing to hamper the difficulty, merely giving you more options. I highly recommend waiting for a sale, and only if you like the game enough.

Just a heads up to everyone here, there is apparently a cutscene in Chapter 3 that is broken unless you use GE-Proton to play this game. The rest of the game will work fine except for this, so it'll catch you by surprise.

Wait, Tunnet wasn't considered playable? I remember playing the proton version of that game just fine a while back because the native linux port was giving me control issues.

No sponsorblock? Not touching youtube without it. The best way to use youtube on steam deck remains a kiosk mode youtube webpage with all the modern and configurable adblocks and sponsorblock and a gamepad preset from community templates

Since it appears to be a TV client, I suspect you could run https://github.com/dmunozv04/iSponsorBlockTV to get sponsor-skipping. Not the most elegant solution, but possible.

Is this game worth buying now? I see it is on sale right now, but 60$ seems steep for a game from 2016. SD verified is a huge plus though!
It's been well worth buying for about five years or more, tbh. Incredible amount of content. I've had 130 hours since about 2019 or so and I haven't played in 3 years!! It's still commonly streamed too, which is incredible.

News - Move over Stardew, it's time for Cattle Country
By RFSharpe, 5 Jun 2025 at 9:08 pm UTC

Fantastic game review Liam! I have Stardew Valley installed on my Steam Deck, but have been thinking I might enjoy having another similar game available. From your review, I can see that Cattle Country would definitely fit the bill. From watching the Live Broadcast on Steam and watching a YouTube video, I can see that there is a great deal of content and playablity available. I have added this game to my wishlist.

As secure as anything will be. Linking your accounts doesn't actually give NVIDIA anything that could compromise your account, it's just to see what games you have in your account.

due to it hitting GitHub's rate-limit and blocking it.

I may have mentioned before how heroic's tendency to go out and connect to stuff online willy-nilly, without a simple switch to disable it, was starting to bug me.

Wasn't quite expecting this sort of problem, though.

The game that keeps on giving and giving.
Probably a new expedition is coming out soon too. Those expeditions bring me back to the game again and again, otherwise I don't really know what to do in NMS after finishing the quest lines.
This game is one of the shining examples of game support, after such a rough start No Man's Sky has completely changed and very much overdelivered on everything. And it still performs awesomely well on Deck.
I guess they said it somewhere, but all the updates seem to be "tests" for their new game "Light No Fire". Like, let's test new weather effects... and backport it to No Man's Sky. Or let's test fishing mechanics, and put it into No Man's Sky... etc.
