Quoting: GuestThe AI in this game is worse than shit.

Watching a gameplay video, I was amused at civilians who would run away from you for a short distance, then stop and wait for you to catch up. Not that any of the AIs were any smarter, so I guess they were normal in that sense. The only way to cope with a world of bugs, glitches, an increasingly annoying voiceover (seriously, dude is like an emo teenager from 1997) and takedowns that get boring after the third one is to totally shut your brain off I guess.

Well, I haven't guessed right on Feral's, or Aspyr's hints, so I grin at the responses and wait for something that'll make me a smiling penguin! :D

The picture text is I assume is in Arabic.

Google translate of "Somehow" English to Arabic back to English again is

"In a way or another"

similar enough to "One way or another"

"one way or another" the Blondie song Which appeared on the album Parallel Lines

This song has appeared in the PC games Rock Band 2 and some Guitar Hero games but also Driver : Parallel Lines

So I guessing it could be Driver : Parallel Lines

Ok... 1001 as binary converted to decimal is 9. "Engine engine number 9, coming down Chicago line." Chicago is synonymous with the mafia. So it must be Mafia II. :P

OK, so it's not a simple guess. Let's do a complicated one: A Thousand and One Nights --> Aladdin --> genie --> magic lamp --> Magic Lamp quest --> Witcher 3! *drops the mic and walks away*

"Somehow" is definitely the key word here. You're all so good at figuring these things out that we decided to make this one ridiculously tricky...

You're welcome. :3

*lol*

It's a book, so it must be Book of Unwritten Tales 3!

The other game he's referring to is Wizorb, right? I got it with HIB6 (Linux average was 15$ or so), but it didn't hook me at all. It was a later addition to the bundle anyway. I preferred Jamestown and Rochard.
Looking at his Twitter bio (https://twitter.com/jfmaj0r), he's worked on way more popular games.

Working with Sega you say? It could be "Nights into Dreams." Wouldn't that be cute?

Nah, it's Medieval II: Total War. Makes sense because Feral has a working relationship with Sega as a publisher (they've ported Empire and are working on Company of Heroes 2) and because they've brought over other games in the Total War series. 1001 Nights was compiled during the Islamic Golden Age and part of that timeframe is covered by Medieval II.

Quoting: mboucharI really enjoy the widescreen resolution. I tried KOTOR 1 recently, and I can't play with that 4:3 resolution...

It's called upscaling. look it up. I also think there was a widescreen mod for KOTOR 1 as there has been for so many older games before widescreen truly became a fad (kind of like how 4K is now)

You can't upscale aspect ratio, only resolution. Or in plain english you can't make a 4:3 image fit a 16:9 screen without distorting or cropping the image.

Instantly bought, I have been really wishing for this game to have a Linux port.

In a way it's kinda sad they decided to specifically release their Linux port inside of a zero dollar tier of a Humble Indie Bundle, on top of that one that doesn't really have any Linux games in the higher tiers.

I myself overcame the urge to just nab it for a single $1 and got it for $10, but almost all Linux users who want that game will do exactly that, and the Linux sales of the game will look very bleak again.

When game is put into zero dollar HiB tier, it's sales are pretty much over, I am afraid.

I've played this game. It's one of my favourite RPG. I like that the story & characters isn't so black & white like in many other RPG.
