Quoting: mr-egg
Quoting: hidekinJust done the benchmark for talos in 4k with my new gtx 1070 :

Opengl average of 70fps
Vulkan average of 150fps

Both in ultra settings

Awesome :-)
Huh, does that mean you could get between 500 & 600FPS @ 1080p being 4x less the performance hit :O
Probably not 4 times better but should be a lot better. For a slow paced game like talos even 60-70fps is good enough :D I was impressed with vulkan in 4k with the gtx 1070. My last benchmark when I used my gtx 770 I had around 70fps in 4k.

Quoting: GuestNo luck with the 367.35 nvidia drivers either, still impossible to switch to Vulkan. I also tried the beta.
I'm also in 367.35.I have a black screen after I apply for the Vulkan api but after I restart the game it worked for me.

Quoting: TacoDeBossRuns at 20 FPS at high settings 1080p on my GTX 1080. Great... Another horrible port by Feral. Ugh.
Then same problem than me with a gtx 1070. Maybe a driver problem or something else. But seems pascal gpu have some problems with this port.I'll send an email to feral tomorrow.

I have 2 monitors with different resolutions , one in 2160p and a second one in 1200p. So maybe have a choice for a different resolution for each monitor ?

If the game is ported by Knockout games the port will be good , I really liked their ports until now. Shadow warrior performance wise is on par with windows and soma the same.

Tomb Raider, the excellent 2013 game is officially coming to Linux from Feral Interactive

Quoting: omer666P.S. : I tried some KOF not long ago on a Steam Controller and it was the worst vs fighting experience I had since the XBox 360 and its crappy cross. To be fair, I think it's the only thing this controller can't handle. I think it's time for getting an X-Arcade...
Set the left touch pad as touch. I had no problem doing moves like Clark's running three or Geese's raging storm after that. The dpad is still better though.
I did this as well, but as a vs fighter player, I need much more physical response than this. If you know about a great gamepad in that respect, I'm taking any serious suggestion. But in the end, I know I'll be getting an arcade stick. I'm looking at X-Arcade but at some cheaper Sanwa-based solutions as well.
Not a serious suggestion, but i remember the last gamepad with a truly great dpad was the Sega Genesis 6 button arcade controller. Street Fighter 2 was awesome with that controller.
Yes, there was an official SEGA Saturn USB controller some years ago but nowadays it is pretty much overpriced.

For that price I'd rather pick an X-Arcade any day. Oh and I doubt the cheap copies we find all over the internet are worth the expense...
