A bit higher resolution would be nice, so e.g. 1920x1080 :)

Sickhead Games working with Chucklefish to port Stardew Valley to Linux
13 May 2016 at 5:01 am UTC Likes: 1
IMHO ConcernedApe has made a good choice. ChuckleFish is his publisher, which has experience with Linux! Also has Tom Coxon, which is a Linux gamer btw., Linux experience with his own game Lenna's Inception and Starbound. True, Sickhead Games seems not to have much experience with Linux, but they have with MonoGame. Not to mention that they also involved in the development of the MonoGame Framework which they used for their ports for PS4 and it is available on Linux too.
That way Stardew Valley will not only be ported to Mac & Linux. It also replaces the outdated XNA with MonoGame, which is much more then Ethan has to offer.
So overall I'm not surprise about that decision and I see a good team here which can and will do it. I only hope it doesn't take to long. I hate to boot windows! :(
Just in case that you don't know who Tom Coxon is, and looks very like it:

Quoting: crazyg4merz*facepalm* Sometimes Guys...Quoting: kellerkindtIt will be a shame if it turns out to be a bad port or they just give up the project entirely and blame Linux for being a pain in the ass. I really need this game to work, a fan of Harvest Moon for a long time. :(Quoting: FredOI didn't know these guys do Linux & MAC ports - it looks like they have Sony console ports on their list?Following the discussion here https://twitter.com/flibitijibibo/status/730794103999434752 [External Link] you seem to be right about this one being their first port... oh dear

Quoting: HuckertI've been keeping an eye on this, and I still will, but I don't think I'll buy it while in early access. Stellaris gets my Money and knowing Paradox grand strategy games it'll keep me occupied for quite some time(and HOI4 isn't too far off either).Same! Stellaris it will be. I don't care about MoO in EA. Well, not to mention the MoO3 disaster.

Please keep up the feedback and thanks so much for helping us get this stuff working! "
Valve shoots down Itch stores attempt to get their client on Steam

It's a shame, but I can see Valve's real point, they don't want any actual competition for sales coming from something on their own store.I hate it already if a game needs an additional account to play it on Steam. Why hell should I want another Store, which just adds another account on the top? NO THANK YOU!!!!
The latest Steam Hardware Survey is out

Quoting: Crazy PenguinI think Wine needs to add the Word "Wine" to the OS-String, e.g. "Windows Wine XP" or "Windows XP Wine". Something like that. Problem solved! :PQuoting: whitewolfguyWine counts as Windows. Which version depends on how you have configured Wine. You can see as which Window version it counts in the survey data which Steam shows you before you send the survey.Quoting: Comandante oardoA lot of people is using Steam on Linux via WINe, How the statistics of the Steam Hardware Survey recognize those accounts?.. As Windows XP users? As Others?Good question, I also have this doubt.
How to tell what Steam games work on Linux & SteamOS, steamplay does not mean Linux support

Without the Icon you have no chance to find this games on Steam now!

Quoting: dubigrasuThere are games on Steam which are still supporting and running fine on Linux, but got the SteamOS-Icon removed, as they are not compatible with the Big Picture Mode. That is the only difference.Quoting: GuestI'm pretty sure Valve put some thoughts into this at the time when they're changed the icon, most likely at some point they draw the line between supporting Linux gaming in general and (their own) Steamos gaming which they need to promote.Quoting: dubigrasuWell, two different icons describing basically the same thing, now that's confusing. It’s not the same thing. What’s confusing is games that run on linux even though they don’t have the steamos icon (dying light), and games that don’t even though they have it (most recent unity games).
As such, if a game runs on SteamOS it will get an SteamOS icon and support, if not, it gets nothing.
Without the Icon you have no chance to find this games on Steam now!
