You and your percentage. I don't know what you expect.

A shift of 1% would mean that 1,25 Million Users jump on the Linux-Bandwagon, which is kinda unrealistic.

@minj. I hope that is what Valve is doing too. As I have seen the survey for Linux only once this year, and on Windows it pops up every month!

It seems the Windows-Build isn't DRM-Free as well, as it needs GOG Galaxy esp. for Multiplayer and an additional Kalypso-Account. As we know GOG hasn't even a Linuxbuild of Galaxy, so you will not see a Linuxversion of Grand Ages & Dungeons 2 on GOG very soon.

I don't like the direction GOG is heading and Kalypso should be ashamed for that crap!

Oh Well! I don't understand this negative tone and whining. Guys have a look on WHAT has achieved over the last years with Valve and lots of others.

We have a good base for developers to make games for Linux. We have lots of good and awesome games. More then we can afford or have time to play. My Pile of Shame on Linux has reached an height which I wouldn't have imagined 2-3 years ago. A lots of more good games are comming. We have Aspyr & Feral which are doing high quality ports for Linux. We have some bigger companies which are making games for Linux. More and more are jumping on the train which is still gaining speed.

So why are you so negative? Why are the whining for some AAA-Games from AAA-Publishers which treat gamers like ****?

You won't get 50% market share overnight that needs time, but we are on the best way. Even if some guys from the "bigger" Desktops (KDE & Gnome) try to sabotage it.

(I'll NEVER understand why hardcore gamers don't push more for Linux; why wouldn't you prefer a $0 OS upon which to play games, rather than putting up with Windows??).

Me neither! We have the better FPS!! So they can't be that hardcore as they claim to be :D

Steam reported 125 Million active user accounts last time (March 2015). So this makes at least 1.25 million active linux user accounts.

Why do you want EA to support Linux? A company which treats their customers like ****. I give a damn **** if they support Linux or not. Even if they do I will not buy a game from them. Never ever again. The times where they have made great games and really produced some awesome stuff are long over. EA sucks! They ruin every Studio they get their dirty hands on. I don't want this damn company anywhere near Linux. They only care about money and nothing else! Same goes for Ubisoft and Blizzard!

Perfect! Would have been very disappointed with King Art Games if there wouldn't have been a port for Linux, after they have done such great ports for Linux already.

Very similiar gameplay, with a bit different mechanics. IMHO Terraria has more content and is more fun to play with the events, dungeons, thousands of Items. But both are great games and Starbound is still EA :).
