Galculator

Enough said.
This one gets installed by default with the Cinnamon edition of Manjaro, and each time I want to open the calculator, I curse whoever had this brilliant idea...

What have you been playing recently? Come chit-chat with us

I recently started playing Adore [External Link], a cute (but not "kawai") rogue-like. Think Gremlins, not Slime Rancher

The game is in early access, but according to their Discord (which I join because it is the only way to report bugs), a Linux version seems to be planned. I currently run it under Proton, and so far the game runs ok, I could finish the higher difficulty without major problem. I think it could run better, but the game is in early access, so...

And then, as everyone seemed to enjoy Valheim, and since it was in my wishlist since a long time, I bought it... and got hooked as well

I am currently enjoying it solo, so I can take my time to discover the possibilities offered by the game

NVIDIA reveal the GeForce RTX 3060, plus lots of GeForce RTX laptops

It wasn't just the 1060 that was popular, the 2060 was also really popular with gamers (according to the Steam Survey)
I'd say it was more popular with manufacturers, seeing how many "gaming" laptops and destops were shipped with a xx60...

What prevents you from using it ? There a Community edition of Manjaro Cinnamon, I've been using it since Windows 7 end-of-support.

The Linux distribution I was most thankful for in 2020 - EndeavourOS
7 Jan 2021 at 5:17 am UTC Likes: 1

Quoting: oldrocker99I tried EndeavourOS, and it's too close to vanilla Arch for me (I don't like spending a long time to install packages); I prefer the so-called "bloated" Manjaro. All the benefits of Arch with the ease of Ubuntu.
That was also my experience with EndeavourOS. When I installed it, I realised all the stuff that Manjaro does right out-from-the-box, and didn't want to spend time "copying" this behaviour in EndeavourOS.

This piece got me thinking... Why is Valve still supporting Linux, at this point, if it all comes to this?
Maybe Valve is still planning on doing something with their SteamOS ?

Quoting: The_Aquabatit surprises me taking into account how buggy Cyberpunk currently is. It's a bad sign that devs are getting away with buggy releases imho.
There isn't any issue that can't be circumvented by throwing truckloads of cash into marketing (this is the basis of our society) - the hype for this was absurd, there was no doubt it was going to be huge.
Yes, wasn't it Doom (2016) who got a huge patch, 1 week before the retail copies were out ?

Quoting: eldakingI'm just a bit disappointed that so many people are buying the game instead of downloading the illegal "Hacker Edition". I mean, it makes sense thematically, doesn't it?
But, but... it doesn't look so good on the shelf
