It has to be Skyrim. People have only been clamouring for GTAV recently, whereas in every rumour thread there's ALWAYS a Skyrim request!!

Thanks for badgering them Liam...it's super important that they are informed of our displeasure!. I've been looking at this but won't touch it until they improve performance, particularly given that the visuals are part of the appeal of this game, and if they run crapola, it's definitely not worth getting.

Quoting: tcitDid 2K Australia did anything else than Borderlands?

EDIT : I would go with Bioshock.
They only did Bioshock 2.

PS. I'm still hoping for annoucement on Alien: Isolation coming to SteamOS/Linux.
That's not true, 2K Australia worked on Bioshock 1.

The original Bioshock is a good guess, but it could also be just a ....red herring :)

Pillars Of Eternity RPG Released For Linux, Early Port Report Included

Wow! I finally succumbed and got it. First impressions - it's REALLY good.
I'm also able to play it on my laptop with an Intel HD4000. Frames rates are low, around 16-20fps, but I find that's playable for this kind of game. It might get worse in busy combat, but I'm still starting out and so far so good.

Quoting: morbiusI was very much into this game until I've seen on Steam that it's a Paradox-style DLC fiesta. I hate developers who keep endlessly nickel-and-diming their customers.
Yes this statement bothered me as well. DLC is only a problem if the base game is expensive and doesn't have much content. Otherwise, it's a great way to progressively invest in a game if you really like it. DLC is also the only way a developer can keep producing content for a game post release, hence why Paradox does it, because they support their games over the long term.

Endless Legend Linux Port Is Now On Hold, Not Looking Good

Quoting: dubigrasuMiddleware again, sigh...
This WILL get better in the future...but yes, middleware is the biggest hurdle for most of these ports. People use middleware to speed up development, but if that middleware is not properly cross-platform, generally we are the ones that suffer :(

Also noticed that when trying to force "__GL_THREADED_OPTIMIZATIONS=1" to the executable, it will not run at all - simply gives out ~0.2sec audio and a blank screen, so nothing to test there.
I believe that might be because it's already enabled.
