I grow a little bit tired of using the Ctrl+alt+backspace at least once a week, so I also put a lot of faith in Trixie.

I hope Valve are watching closely with Microsoft working towards an Xbox Handheld

I think Microsoft is late on this. AND people have an increasingly bad impression on the Ways of Windows. Desktop or where ever. User is not respected in the world of MS. Then again respect for Valve and their generosity from users.....
Since Windows Millennium yes.

The trend I see with friends is the drive to find alternatives to the Google/Microsoft ecosystem (ok they are tech savvy but not all are familiar with Linux as a daily OS).

The recent example with Skype closing its door is one of a long list (It's fate was already sealed in 2014 it just took a long time to die).

NVIDIA stable driver 570.124.04 released for Linux with VRR for multiple displays and various bug fixes
28 Feb 2025 at 7:05 pm UTC

Back to disabled VRR, it is still messy with my setup, and now it takes a long time to go out of sleep.

Will see if the graphic layer is still crashing from time to time with these.

Edit: Had to rollback to 550 to avoid full system freeze for now.

Latin America -> Everybody speaking a perfect English.

I hope to see a Spanish dubbing worldwide.
I prefer games in English and it is not my native language, maybe because it is often the way they are written and then translated.

Counter-Strike: Source and Day of Defeat: Source get major updates with 64bit support

I still find CS:Source better on multiple aspects compared to CS:2. I can localize player by ear (it is almost impossible on CS:2 to be accurate for me), the friendly fire can be enabled everywhere (only competitive on CS:2), easy to mod servers, no shitty skin if you don't want to see them.

Borderlands 4 confirmed for release in September with a new trailer

Was it Dying Light 2 with new guns?

Still have mixed feelings (and I played all the Borderlands except the "tales from").

Blocking Linux / Steam Deck in Apex Legends led to a 'meaningful reduction' in cheaters

Quoting: "wytrabbit"Unless Linux players accounted for more than a single digit percentage of their total playerbase, I find it impossible to consider it a "meaningful reduction". Let's assume 1-in-5 Linux players were cheating, if we had 10% of the total playerbase that's only a reduction of 2% of players total. But as scaine mentioned they're down from 450k to 130k daily average, far greater than 2%.
You can be seen as a Linux player even when only using windows, if it is easier to cheat. The point is to make the game believe it runs on a Linux platform.

But yes, I hope the graph is showing ratios of cheater per game, to avoid bias due to the player base size.
