You'll need it to upload files to them.

Yes, that part is obvious, but I didn't think 31 million people would upload stuff to the IA. To megaupload, maybe.

It's unlikely RDR1 will have an online mode*, so no reason to put anticheat in.
(*) unless maybe they incorporate RDO into the package, which I doubt, given they don't even maintain it and would probably rather people just stop playing it.

What exactly does it have to do with this game? I don't know about RDR1 but RDR2 is a 100h+ single-player story, plus the online mode has a separate story as well (I played it mostly for the story anyway).

It's a special one for me as well, because I won it here at GoL! :-) Played and enjoyed, too! I just didn't play the DLC stories, might be a good time to revisit.
