Windows 10 S might alarm Valve into boosting SteamOS again

You don't just go to sleep when the enemy regroups, you use that time to prepare. I hope Valve doesn't wake up with the short end of the stick...

The Linux version of Yooka-Laylee on Steam was removed, requiring you to use a beta

"They say if you opt into the "mac_and_linux_old" beta you will get access again, however, it's not clear how old that build actually is"

Judging by this post: https://steamcommunity.com/app/360830/discussions/0/1620599015874147447/#c1620599015889985671 [External Link] - it's a very old build, possibly the vert first Linux build that was put on steam.

That's odd, I (almost*) never had issues with this game, me and the kids played a few dozen hours, no idea why they would remove the Linux build (also I think I still have it installed on my steam machine and I'm not opted-in to beta).

* two minor issues - the first world boss was bugged in the beginning, and some time ago controller stopped working after a steamos/drivers update, not really game's fault.

We have over 150 beta keys of the co-op MMO 'Dead Maze' to give away

"It's a massively multiplayer cooperative game where you try to restore civilization." - cool idea! Might just give it a shot. :-)

The Libretro Team and other emulators are being ripped off by companies trying to make a quick buck

Quoting: subIt's not just the great ScummVM.
Also DOSBox.

What else projects, btw?
I didn't mention dosbox, because it ceased development years ago. But ScummVM is flourishing so it would be nice if the companies benefiting from it would at least contribute some coding time, if not money...

Just today I was pondering on whether GOG, Nightdive and others keen on packaging old games with ScummVM and selling them for a fine buck actually contribute to the project themselves. With lots of new games added to ScummVM recently, I certainly hope so, but somehow I doubt it at the same time...

The problem is the goal explosion in the santa crate, but there's a workaround until psyonix fixes it, you can read more here:

Nice and clean workaround, thanks! (Though I just played to unlock the Happy Penguin topper and stopped after that, but I'm sure it will be handy for the others :-)

I hate this game and it hates me, but for Happy Penguin I might actually play a few matches. ;-)

For fans of retro racing games, Super Night Riders is like OutRun & Hang-On

Um... did they "improve" the graphics lately? I seem to remember the game looking better (less plastic-ky) when I put it on my wishlist...
